Straand Manufacturing Limited has a wide range of CNC lathes, both for bar fed and chucking applications.

Numerous Vertical CNC mills provide capacity for 'one off', prototype, small or medium batch of components for Aerospace, Defence, Marine and Commercial applications.

Our facilities offer customers up to date Turning and VMC CNC Milling Machining capability.  We have and continue to invest in both CNC and manual machinery to provide our customers with the competitve prices and the quality they expect.

The use of our top of the range machine and our deicated team of CNC Precision Engineers ensures that accuracy and quality is machined into every component we manufacture.

We have recently added a new CNC machining centre to our plant list, which has increased our work capacity and reduced our lead times.

TECHNOLOGIES

We have a CAD office which is equipped with the latest 2D/3D CAD/CAM software and we have the ability to import electronic data in most recognised formats which eliminates the need for component drawings.

This allows us to reduce lead times involved in the introduction of new components.

SPECIALIST IN EXOTIC MATERIALS

We have over 30 years experience in manufacturing in specialist materials including; Cupro-nickel (70/30 & 90/10), Nickel Bronze, Specialist Stainless Steels S62, S80, S130, S151 and S154, A286, Inconel 625, 718, Titanium and Aluminum L44 and L168.
